Elisabeth is a snarky former homeschool kid who was raised Independent Fundamental Baptist. She left that behind, and in doing so found a real faith in Jesus, the Word of God, and realized how desperately we need a relationship with our Creator. In 2010 she married her favorite weirdo, and despite having severe PCOS, a miscarriage and a very unpleasant pregnancy, they have one amazing child. Things that make her happy include but are not limited to: Dinosaurs, Baking, Pumpkins, Gardening, Purple Lipstick, Christian Ska, Breakfast for Dinner, Sci-Fi Novels and The Philadelphia Story. Her primary love language is coffee.
She is reluctantly hopeful about humanity (see aforementioned Jesus) and the possibility of cloning extinct species.
Sandy is a sarcastic Southerner who was raised in the Baptist church and the music business. She found her faith early in life and while it’s not perfect it has been tested and proven and it is strong and passionate. She married her husband in 2008 and what seemed like the best year of her life turned into the most unimaginable nightmare after the loss of their firstborn son. After years of heartbreak and multiple pregnancy losses, they now have two beautiful rainbow babies. As a registered nurse she is passionate about science and loves exploring, shooting, photography, design, and archeology and gets stupidly excited over beautiful antique doorknobs and perfectly cooked bacon.
She is a habitual optimist who drinks her coffee black and usually lukewarm.
