CONCLUSION
God doesn’t call us to our idea of perfection, because in Christ we are already made perfect through his sacrifice.
ISAIAH 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways.
We are not capable of perfect action or perfect thought.
1 JOHN 4:7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God.
When Jesus tells us to be perfect as God is perfect he’s not talking about actions and he’s not talking about thoughts because perfection there is not attainable. But His love, His perfect love, IS accessible. It is attainable. And it is shareable.
